Stop stress about using the road in Bangkok. How many million cars will there be? To halt as if making camps in the middle of the road is common. Maybe because we started to like the condition of life in the car, our family members are close and sometimes we may have lunch together in a driving car on the highway as a warm family. There is something for us to burst into laughter. When the traffic is dead, people begin to get out of the car to relax. Even we look around get to know with other people, to greet, to confide; as we feel like neighbors, thinking of the little ones who complete the family life, their parents and children, urgent family activities, and necessary for the happiness of life in the middle of the streets of Bangkok.
One day while Dad drove me to school, the car is stuck on the road, I asked Dad about the atmosphere on the road before I was born. He told me something about Bangkok in the past. And in the evening he handed me the book named “Family in the middle of the road” written more than 30 years ago. By the time I finished reading it, I could imagine the life of the people in Bangkok spending their lives in the societies, struggling for their dream and surviving, relationships among people in the surrounding atmosphere on the roads in the past, which was not much different from today. Anyway, the atmosphere has been changing, which we have to live with it happily and inevitably.
This made me create the work from understanding of life and society around, by creating an atmosphere of people on the streets in Bangkok that everyone can look back to sense the mood and feelings of each person in the past. By returning to see the scenes of happiness that everyone has passed through life on the streets of Bangkok, that makes everyone happy with the way of life of the people on the street has food, items of appliances, various services to choose and to buy from the side of the road. We can talk more with family or loved ones, or get to know the people around us who live with us on the road. Conclusively speaking, it is another form of happiness that everyone must remember, which we cannot find anywhere except on the streets of Bangkok that is the reason why "I love Thailand".
The land of NopBuriSrinakhonPhing, embraced with river Mae Ping, and mountain DoiSuthep high into the sky, holding foggy corner of the city, clinging the blooming flowers of the wild, accompanied by Peacocks’ singing clear sound. The city of Chiang Mai is unique. All loves bound here among the natives of the Province. The traditional New Year Songkarn, cooling down the old city, the prominent temple is a religious city, Lanna, monument of three Kings, who helped establish the city of Chiangmai that becomes abandoned. The city people speak with pleasant voices. No cities have more religious people than the ones here. Come and join us for creative local music.
This work represents the great cultural beauty of the Lanna people, who still maintain the cultural elegance in the works, portraying Poi Luang, the great merit fair of the North, which regularly held. Every year, in order to celebrate the grandeur of the temple, the word "Poi" comes from the word "tradition means a festive celebration while" Luang means "great, so the festive fairs "Poi Luang "is a great celebration. It is a big celebration or a celebration of the temple's permanently built objects or a celebration of the temple's buildings that people have helped make for the benefit of public and tradition from the 5th month to the7th month of the Northern calendar which falls on February until April of the international. Some places may continue to May each year. I therefore would like to create works that convey Lanna traditions and culture into works to expresses love for my hometown.
Some ‘Jan’ or sacred trees along roadside have already blossomed. Flowers of the crescent-moon shape get the winter sun. The stubble after the harvest is sadly pale, as if mourning the parting of the slender body. The northeast wind blows a cold in before going together.
How many seasons will change in hot and cold weather? The people of ‘Ban Alor’ community were able to live together without any trouble. Happy according to the convention of the rural people.
‘Isaan Ban Hao’ is a literary reflection on the way of life of the people who have to adjust their lifestyle according to each season. Rainy Season is the wet season but the soil cannot hold moisture for long enough to allow green plants all year. The cold winter along with long-lasting dryness, the dry summer passed, but we can overcome the barriers to drought. Using the new agricultural theory, is a theory that has been conceived using the concept of natural resource use and management in agriculture, which His Majesty King BhumibolAdulyadej bestowed upon the Thai people to solve problems in agriculture by allowing farmers to escape the snare of poverty. On the theory of forests of 3 kinds and benefits of 4 kinds, the principles of which my grandparents and my family embraced them and applied them to follow the father of the land. We create wet soil and water sources by digging fishponds and make a rubber plantation. Planting forest, grow fruits and vegetables until we succeed overcoming the drought barrier, and get non-toxic food and products that are available to sell and share with others.
From the story of the blue stars, campaign to reduce global warming appeared to all over the world because people have begun to beware natural disasters that occurred from time to time. Because of heat wave, thunderstorms, floods, blizzards, landslides, melting of the polar ice and more inclement weather, people are trying to help each other campaign to save natural resources, find energy. Instead of plastic, we use paper. When turning the lights off to reducing energy consumption and toxic gas emission, and much more, the atmospheres of the world shall return to its normalcy. When climate is stable, the world economy will prosper. Science and technology avant-garde come to existence; inventors, cars that are abound in the roads, etc.
From the story of the blue star, I was impressed about the global warming campaign. Especially in the year 2007, many occurrences such as thunderstorms, floods, blizzards, landslides, polar ice melting, causing various stories to happen in that era, and make us learn how to solve problems that do not cause greenhouse effects, such as campaigns to help save the natural resources.
By applying renewable energies, we turn back to use paper bags instead of plastic bags, turn off the lights, reduce energy consumption, and reduce emissions of toxic gases, etc., realize the economic conditions and the development of technology and education. And the most important is learn of the problem in the past that everything had been volatile, such as polar permafrost has been melting and huge sum of water flowing into the ocean and causing the rapid flow of ocean streams that have caused flash floods around the world. In the next era, when there were so many catastrophes, lowlands subsided and people shall be driven away, so it was hard to search, and at the end of the year, there was a big earthquake and many big cities have become abandoned cities, submerged under water. Eventually, people have to migrate to build a country on the highlands and raising animals could be more difficult because the climate is unstable.
Grandpa shall pleasantly row his boat regardless of what time to leave home, because it is not scheduled tour as departure time of the train. This short-prow, flat-bottomed boat serves as a top class vehicle emitting no pollution, moving through the water line after the rower's strength. If passing through the middle of the water striders, they shall flee in all directions, which look chaotic!
Grandpa and Kati barely talk but let the boat and water get along. As the sun shines far from the sky but the water all around in the field looking like crystal island “KohKaew”, is blocking the heat. As the minute were still standing, the boat is in the midst of water, the sky, and the sun.
The “Happiness of Kati” impressed me by fun, cheerful brilliance of Kati and grandpa and grandma, who raised Kati well, made her feel she was not lacking loving care. Besides, I am also impressed with the atmosphere of Kati’s house, surrounded with rice fields and canal, abundant with lotus. I was also impressed with the atmosphere of the ambience when grandpa with Kati rowed the boat into the lotus pond and picked some lotus roots and brought them back home to prepare for lunch.
Then, I created an art called "Lotus leaf". Nowadays, the beauty of nature dwindles. Dumping chemicals and wastewater into canals, which created pollution and blocking waterway. So, one should refrain from spoiling but sustain the perfection of nature and environments by starting from us ourselves.
As the caravan of wagons moves, the buzzing sounds start. Koon stands next to his mother, looking at the wagon trail until it is out of sight. He asks his mother, "Where are those uncles going? "To Din Dam Nam Choom area" (the area, where soils are black, fertile or wetlands) and 'Gumbon' fish are swaggering the tails," answer the mother. Koon had heard such words quite often but paid no attention. Opposite to this time, he asks his mother again, "What is the Din Dam Nam Choom area?" Mother explains, it is the area one can keep farming throughout the year. The fish in the water are big and seen jumping in the water. Like alligator whipping its tail." The boy follows his father up the house and asks him, “when is it time to bring us to the areas where fish swim in the water like alligator whipping its tail?” Dad told him, "Your grandfather ordered that you do not have to move anywhere else, son," but mother comes up and says, “we should go as drought may repeat here again this year". Father laughs and asks, “Why are we going to leave? ”
The Impression in drawing this picture is I feel like to convey the lives of people in the northeast of the country over 40 years ago. The old Northeast people had relocated quite often because there were repeating droughts in the areas, so they had to make way out trails of wagons in order to find new areas with fertile soils other than the former ones, in order to make their livelihood more comfortable and easier life. People in the past had cattle in every home because cattle help them plow the soil.
The insights from this story are to see how the groups of people live and survive. Life of people in the past and today, which is different because nowadays, life is much more convenient owing to better technology to help make life much easier. Nowadays, people just sit and poke the screen of the phone to order delicious food through application of food deliveries, and just wait for food to eat, opposite to life in the past, people had to make a living day by day to make ends meet. They did not know whether they could get food or not, thus reflecting lifestyle in the present and the past world.
There is a house near a canal, in which Luk Chan lives and always has fun activities do on holidays.
After reaching the canal, the adjacent is a rental house. Next door to Luk Chan's is her friend's house, the largest store in the next village. Another is the store of a nice husband and wife couple. Next on the canal bank is located a late afternoon market. Actually, Luk Chan had been familiar with this canal since young, used to sneak out from home to take a bath in the canal with an older friend, Pee Juk. Having seen them jumping into the water made her excited. For Luk Chan, taking bath in the pond was less funny than in the canal but she was not able to swim, so she followed her older friends to the canal by walking along the embankment to the stairs, and dropped herself in the water. She had to hold tight the pillars of the bridge and tried to move from one pillar to the other. Once it happened, she could not manage her movement. She was between two pillars and her tiptoes could not meet the bed of the canal, so she drowned and suffocated. She struggled until she reached to the bank. Since then she knew how to swim as long before punished by the elder brother Pi Chin for disobedience on the way back from canal to home and repeated his warning.
This picture inspired me with the story of a children in the countryside, whose way of life is in the pristine and gorgeous nature and tell a story about a child, diligent, cute, respectful, whom everyone loved in the family; especially the mother. Living in the countryside, located on the natural canal, made him feel happy and funny with childhood activities on the holidays, such as playing, fishing, boating, reading, and learning, and planting. The river is large, the water is clean, and the surroundings are fully good for consuming and agriculture. Further, rivers and canal are ones of sources of arts, cultures, and customs, which gathered and passed on generation to generation dated from antiquity, and become identities of the communities. We should keep clean rivers and canals and conserve them for good.
Ploy and Choi were not very interested in the end part of the procession. Because when the procession moved, all the entertainments in the field ahead began to start simultaneously. Taking a chance, both Ploy and Choi wandered hand in hand to the halls of amusements.
At the backyard of Wat PhraKaew, Temple of the Emerald Buddha, there were many interesting things to see like dancing, tumbling, tight sling, on which people had to climb high to stand on top of the pole, and other acrobatic stunts. The one that Mae Ploy liked the most was Kaua Stabbing Buffalo. Two people were in the mantle acting like a real buffalo, one of them in the front was holding a mockup buffalo head. Besides, another man, holding a spear, was playing as the husband of the woman named “Kaua.” The last man, dressed like a woman holding a worn-out umbrella, was Kaua, the wife. The played went on with a gesture of the actors that makes the audience laugh throughout the scene of confusing fights among furious buffalo, the husband and Kaua trying to stab the buffalo , the wife. The play was noisy but very amusing. Later on, the two women went by another and another group of play, which they did not like, then they strode away to other places, then said they were bored.
"Kaua stabbed the buffalo" was inspired by the scene in the story, when Mae Ploy was in the palace. There was a tonsure ceremony of tmountainhe Crown Prince MahaVajirunhis, the first Crown Prince of Siam.
It was a great and very beautiful event, which was one of the ceremonies I have not seen today. The story mentioned the beauty of the Grand Palace, the creation of the miniature of the mountain Khao Krailas, which was made of bamboos, tin plates. Khao Krailas was the mountain mentioned in a beautiful fairy tale. Outside the grand palace, there were entertainments for the public to enjoy. Ploy and Choy liked the performance of "Kaua stabbing buffalo" the most and found it to be amusing with two men chasing the buffalo; one was the husband with spear and the other was the wife holding a torn umbrella, which I have never seen in the present time.
Insights from this literature of the “Four Reigns” helped me see the pictures through Mae Ploy and other characters, showed and shared feelings of loyalty to the nation, religion, and royal family, and filial piety to the beneficent parents, behaving themselves as good people. I saw the kindheartedness Ploy and Choy shared to each other. The generosity of the people of that era brought happiness to me. Studying the life of Thai people, the culture, customs and traditions made me feel love and proud. I can say, "I love Thailand".
I use a blue shade to express the serenity on the fertile land of Thailand. In each region, whether in the North, where plants of winter foster. The central and eastern regions are for wide variety of famous fruits, exported all over the world. The Northeast is for rice growing, farms, and local plantations. In the southern part of the country, the main products are fishing industry, mining resources, and Para rubber. All are abundant with treasures in all directions, so I would like to present to the Thai people the matter of appreciation of the value of our country to what index to show how Thai people are lucky and born in the country, which is a fertile land and there are no other places like our country. We, therefore, like everyone to realize and love our country, Thailand.
Nature relates closely to human life for long. Because humans arise in nature and receive four factors from it; such as food, medicine, clothing, and residence, which are the basic needs in life. In addition, humans also need something for mental health from nature. Nature is a cradle for relaxation, serenity, beauty, and pleasure to relieve stresses in daily life. Through the three senses of perceptions, one can appreciate nature’s beauty, sweet and pure sounds, and exposing to the rhythmic and graceful movements of nature. So touching these things is the source of valuable human art creation in itself.
This is one of the articles, that discusses about our lives and nature, which cannot separate from us. Human lives depend on natural resources for living, works, and most importantly, nature has forged the human mind to be delicate and peacefully cool. Life and nature are parallel. Lacking either one will make no balance. Nature, which holds everything together, is the creator and gives beauty to the world and comfort to all living beings, no matter where you look around, you will find pleasant views.
Furthermore, nature gives life to beautiful animals as well. If we look deeper into the wild green jungles, we will see abundant species of animals that live happily together. We shall see the fertility of the areas and feel styles and rhythms of movements of animal lives and biodiversity. So, all of us, as human beings, should help preserve nature along with this Earth so long!
August is the best time of the year. It rains a little and the weather is comfortable. One day, ‘Ranan’ villagers brought tourists to our village. They were three Americans who sail for years on a sailboat from country to country. They came with medical equipment, medicines and school supplies to donate to poor countries in the South Pacific Islands. They also had a number of essential items on board that are ready to trade for local products. The name of the sailing boat was "Felicity" meaning happiness. Boo Boo, as the village chief, came out to welcome them. They heard that Chief Samuel was the most powerful man in the north of Amprim, so they came to see him together with the medicines and several necessary devices. Boo Boo thanked them and said medicine was very much needed. Boo Boo had the man in the island carve ‘Tam Tam’ in exchange for the items the Americans gave him and set up tents for dance shows which charged the admission or entrance fees, which satisfied the tourists very much. Tribesmen and tourists talk non-stop, told stories about the ‘Amprim’ Island, the Vanuatu tribes, why it was an island of happiest people. Because the island is very rich, with wildlife, plants, and culture as good as modern technology. Even though this archipelago lacks technology, it is a simple delight. Then it was time for them to go away but when they saw another culture, that they knew, it was so good that they did not want to go away. In the end, they left and hoped to see each other again.
The impression of reading the book "The happiest island in the world" impressed me and I admired the Vanuatu tribes for that they loved and cherished their homeland by maintaining a good culture. Although the technology of the world has developed much and rapidly but it cannot harmonize the unique culture and livelihood of the tribes. Living things depend on each other. Nobody invaded, no one destroyed, and no prosperity was to destroy the beautiful nature. The people of the tribe loved and cherished the resources available. They were satisfied with what they have and continued to preserve the culture by passing it on to their children. These things made a big impression on tourists and visitors. In regard, generosity, smiles and friendship, a tribal play show. It indicates a long and solid culture. On a beautiful land, it was not surprising that the Vanuatu people, who lived there on the small island, were the happiest people in the world.
This is a collection of modern Thai poetry, an award-winning SEA Write, together with a creative nature in both ideas, presentation, and to show the ideals that exalt the value of purity and the kindness of men. Poets convey the idea as Dharma that is easy to understand. Through events and people that can occur in real life and in real society, which shows the difference between immaculacy of children and the state of mind of adults dominated by the social framework. Each poem presents a number of intricately detailed thoughts and can be interpreted in a profound manner with a sharp writing technique, prosody writing, natural format that is consistent with the content. Words used are simple words, arranged in a rhythmic pattern, which creates a powerful introduction to a clear visualization. It conveys the thoughts of the poet affecting the mood and stimulating the reader's mind. It is to hope that the world may also be at peace with the pure heart of humankind and is actually a literary work of excellence that deserves the best.
The work shows both good side for kindness and bad side, of series of quarrels. Since birth, the children are compared to a white cloth and still do not know anything. What they should or should not do, they will know when they grow up and will recognize many goodwill or values, and some may abuse their lives by turning to a fight or a killing, and end up with punishment for doing so. And later they will be scorned by people in the society who are not all optimistic. Therefore, we should do good to maintain our image. Make others admire, love, be kind, generous. Help each other. Do not look down on others. Although they have done wrong, then forgive each other and give them opportunity to develop to be good persons. Prove to society the goodness of them.
The old town adjacent to the water still reminded me of the scent of memory.
Viharn Pagoda stood majestically in the morning, receiving the light of sadness but shiny color.
Radiant beams shone above across the top of the relics in the pagoda.
The stucco flickered like drops of water.
The flowers spread over time together.
Morning light shines everywhere and shadows of every other home fell aground.
Two feet walked the day, dazzled by the ancestor's dream.
Dim light Market in the building flew the old scent deep into the worn-out road.
When greeted, tourists stopped and chose once and watch pieces of work.
Antique teak woodwork, carved picture frame wagged the wavy veil, woven from traditional cotton. The majestic silverware, wickerwork, arranged and offered in the souvenir shop, which convey each feeling of each portion of the memories conveyed to the morning market.
I was impressed with the feelings through memories that the author tells about the old city on the water and the Viharn-Chedi, which made me feel impressed with beautiful temple. The author also mentioned the stucco and flowers falling on street in the morning, the market with the scent of old city, which made tourists feel interested and chose to see works, such as antique wood, teakwood, carved photo frames, and cotton curtains, made in the old time, old silverware and weaving loom, which they chose and bought as souvenirs. When I listened, it was impressed and proud of our architectural skills, which are elaborately beautiful and exquisite, which other nations cannot contest.
I think we should preserve ancient cities in order to allow people of future generations to study and visit the beauty of this ancient city and continue to communicate.
Walking around and eating, browsing the shops, seeing people, and visiting shops. It was not noisy in the fairs. Along the rows of shops and halls of amusement, there were men standing with a metal megaphone shouted to invite people to watch shows and buy their products. Another thing for the children was the monkey drama that Grandma could not live without I t. This monkey drama, even though there was only one group and repeated the same dramas after dramas, was still popular among the people, who never gave up watching it. The story such as Chantakorop, who, on leaving from the hermit teacher and got a lid-sealed bowl from him and told not to open the lid of the bowl before reaching his home, was too eager to know what was inside, then opened the lid and from inside the bowl there came a beautiful lady Mora out to him. On the way back home with Mora, there came a bandit into the scene and fought with Chantakorop … another story of Monkey soldiers, who went to battle and shoot each other to death … and story of Rojana who chose her lover through the contest of men, to whom the garland of luck and love was thrown …
What Grandma did not forget was the story of Yuan setting net. Grandma's sister sat in the front row to get a clear look. The owner sang the song, "Ji Eui Ji is laying a net here, there must be a shrimp", and Ji could not cast a net down. Ji threw the net again, this time he cast the net over a brand new red hat, get a hat instead of prawn, Jin caught the net with a red hat instead. The audience laughed a lot. All over, Grandma was afraid that Jin would really take her sister's hat. After the drama was over, the owner returned the hat to her.
I was impressed with the book’cause the author recounted the events of childhood of Grandpa's generation fun and had a colorful of youth life, with the episode "traveling" talking about a fun visit to the temple fair. Because in the past, there was not much to see for a long time until there was a fair for fun playing together. There used to be fairs in winter and dry season. After reading the story, we imagined the scenes of life in the past about belongings of tools, toys, sweets and desserts, and various plays and games, happiness in the traditional Thai way, in which grandmother often liked to go with her sister watching monkey shows. And the show "Ji Thot Hae" means that the monkeys dressed up as a Vietnamese female boating to casting the net, but got the red hat of grandmother’s sister, which made the audience laugh out loud in the monkey theater. Monkeys and people, especially in Thai society, were bound to each other for a long time until the present. When talking about the monkey drama with Thai musical wind instruments, people must always remember Thailand, I want to revive and conserve the monkey drama to be our priceless Thai treasure forever.
